Concepts x Nike SB “Blue Lobster” Dunks/Video
You think that I'm late for posting this but I'm sure you already know by now. This is the hype right now since the Air Yeezys are long gone. If you don't live in Boston, don't expect these to hit your local skateshop anytime soon. Check out the Article via Nicekicks:
P.S: Retail price is crazy:
Today, Cambridge-based Concepts announced that it will be releasing the Blue Lobster Dunk, the sneaker boutique’s second project with Nike SB. The Blue Lobster Dunk will drop at Concepts on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at 11:00 am.
The Blue Lobster Dunk serves as the sequel to last summer’s original Lobster Dunk, a Nike SB that first made waves on May 31, 2008. The first “Lobster” was shipped and promoted by the “Concepts Fishing Company,” and came equipped with a poster, lobster claw rubber band, tee shirt and condiment box (replete with lobster shell cracker, fork, bib, wet nap and “butter” shoelaces) all embossed with the “Concepts Fishing Company” logo. The first 50 pairs sold were available in ultra-limited edition packaging, with all of the above-mentioned bundled up in an authentic Concepts wooden lobster trap.
This time around, it’s dangerous! The “Blue Lobster” is a dangerous sub-breed of violent crustaceans that have been wrecking havoc on the otherwise tranquil waters of New England. Priced at $250, the actual Blue Lobster sneaker will be bagged, tagged and sealed in a HAZMAT foam container. Each pair will be joined by an official Nike SB tee shirt, hang tag and lace lock. The first 200 pairs will come with 1 of 2 Concepts x Alien Workshop skate decks.
On June 20, while in line to pick up the Blue Lobster, Concepts will also be raffling off a pair of the original Lobster from 2008. Raffle tickets will be sold for $10 each and the drawing will be held immediately following the release.
After the launch of the Blue Lobster, Concepts will host the Official Blue Lobster Party, featuring a number of special guests and performers including DJ Statik Selektah, Termanology and Masspike Miles. The “Brew Live Cruise” will take place on board the MV Freedom, docked at Rowes Wharf in Boston, MA. Boarding begins at 8:00 pm and the vessel leaves at 9:00 pm sharp! Admission is $30 and only offered to those that are 21+.

Final Nike Air Yeezy Release @ Shoe Gallery
Shoe Gallery is my favorite sneaker store of all time. Not only because I'm from Miami but also because their creativeness towards introducing Shoes at their store. Im sure you remember the article about the Livestrong release they had a couple weeks back, they created an entire theme for the release of that shoe and now they introduced the best shoe so far, The Nike Air Yeezy Net/Net Colorway. The pics speak for themselves. Sorry Standard, they topped your breakfast. : )

Shops get greasy for Yeezys
GRAT ARTICLE FROM THESHOEGAME.COM. I thought I was the only one to feel this way. What's going on Sneakerheads? PLEASE READ:
You have to respect the shop’s loyalty to loyal clientele. Especially when people lined up from the Monday before to obtain such a dope sneaker. We have been receiving a lot of complaints around the country about how things were ran. Auctions putting your 15 year olds against professional athletes, and drug dealers. Raffles that were clearly rigged as everyone’s most notorious resellers win 16 out of 18 pairs. Not to mention the mark ups again that took the last dime out that pocket.
You can’t respect the price jacking by many shops around the country this go around… or the previous two. So is it all a part of the game we play? Is it the recession? We’d like you all to vent now so we can all look forward to a 4th colorway from Nike. My personal favorite was the photos sent to me from a guy who drove 4 hours to a raffle at Next. How are you blessed to receive the shoes yet you can’t spell the name of the shoe right?
